Demand Metric – Greatest Hits of 2012

Like many of you, as the year draws to a close, I am thinking about all the things that have happened in 2012. The rate at which Demand Metric resources were consumed in 2012 hit an all time high. We thought you might want to know which of our resources were most frequently sought after – our greatest hits for the year if you will. We wanted to know this ourselves, so after a trip through Google Analytics, we have the answers. The popularity of each of the resources discussed below is based simply on the number of page views. Here’s what we learned:

Most popular template: Case Study template, a template for highlighting a customer’s problem and how you helped solve it. As content goes, the Case Study is a perennial favorite, particularly loved by the sales team.

Most popular calendar: Marketing Calendar 2012. Demand Metric has nine different types of specialized calendars, but perhaps it is no surprise that our general purpose Marketing Calendar holds the top spot. We’ll go ahead and make a bold prediction for 2013: The Marketing Calendar 2013 will grab the top spot in this category next year.

Most popular methodology: Marketing Communications Plan methodology. No matter how strong a company’s products are, or how effective the leadership is, success in the marketplace depends on great marketing communications.

Most popular tool: Competitive Analysis tool. An analysis tool that helps you define and determine a product category’s core value drivers and then compare your product to competing products across these value drivers.
