Benchmarking and Improving Your Business Performance
The purpose of this report is to provide guidance on implementing effective Enterprise Performance Management (EPM) - also known as Corporate Performance Management (CPM) or Business Performance Management (BPM) - and the corresponding capabilities and enabling technologies that help improve financial and operational control. Over 150 companies were surveyed between July and August of 2010 to identify best practices and current initiatives in corporate performance management. The top-performing companies demonstrated that to achieve a high-level of success in managing business performance, a strategic combination of process re-engineering and software automation should be implemented.
